I think it looks great there. (I know I need a new lampshade, or maybe a new lamp, I will work on that.)
It changes it up a bit.
I then had nothing for the entry. So I took this table from behind my couch..
And put it in the entry with the trunk...
I also changed the things on my piano from this...
To this...
Remember, I said little things. I always feel like I have something new when I do this. It's almost as good as getting something new.
I love to move things around too... such a great way to get an updated look without spending anything. Did you say you made that black table? Amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a great idea. I love that table! You made it? Wow. Will you make me one? ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Brooke! Thanks for visiting! I do this myself and you're right, you can get a whole new look just by moving a few little things around. Love your table change outs. Sometimes my hubby doesn't realize I've used something we already had in another room and asks me, "when did you buy this?". The only time he gets upset is if it means more/new holes in the walls! : )
ReplyDeleteLittle things can make a big difference! You have such a beautiful house!
ReplyDeleteYou're right, little switch ups really do make a difference. I love the black table, and it does add a nice touch to that room. As for the lampshade, why not add a few embellishments to the shade you currently have? I've seen one with beautiful flowers running down it diagonally, and one in clusters, and they're always really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm heading to check out the rest of your blog.
Love the changes! Its always great to take something that you already have and reuse it somewhere else in the room. It makes it feel new! Thanks for stopping by My Life...Inspired!!
ReplyDeleteBoth tables look great! I love how you decorated them with little accessories too! Sometimes it's really hard to look at your house with a new eye and see what can be changed around after you're so used to how things are. I need to try that one day!
ReplyDeleteI love your name and redecorating is something else we have in common. Just an idea, but what about switchning the lamp from by the dining table with the one on the piano?
ReplyDeleteEverything looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love to switch things around...maybe a little TOO much! My constant rearranging would explain why my husband can't ever find anything! :) Come by and visit me!
