Trash to Treasure

Hey, just finished a fun project for my daughter.  My mother-in-law has a rental house and this lovely was left behind by the last renter.
It was an armoire. The doors were broken, the back was broken and it was in real bad shape.  We decided to make it a t.v. stand. So we cut off the top, took out the top drawer that was broken, and made a shelf there.  Then replaced the very top of the armoire to the top of the t.v. stand and Wa, La!
Painted it red with sample paint from Home Depot then added a brown glaze on top after a good sanding.
But of course, to finish it off, I ran to the Hob Lob (Hobby Lobby) for these darling knobs.
All finished it cost me $20.  Daughter is so happy with her new t.v. stand.  Love those trash to treasure stories, don't you?

  1. Great rescue, I would have seen the busted up back and kept driving. All it needed was a little TLC to reveal the beauty within. And such a fun and bold color!
